Overview
Construction Management Electric is looking for individual who is organized, detail oriented and flexible to handle multiple assignments. Ability to work within tight timeframes and meet strict deadlines. The Associate will provide entry level support to the organization with relevant education and experience for useful contributions to the department, provide support for the analysis of data from various sources relating to contractor oversight, administration, payment, and accruals. The Associate will also provide administrative support to the Construction Manager, Project Specialist, Senior Specialist, & Chief Construction Inspectors in the department.
Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities-
Support the organization by providing administrative support for invoicing, payments and other data centered areas of the business while working with the Construction Manager to improve these processes.

Learn and provide support for special departmental projects and work management systems such as LOT, COMPASS, Summons, Electronic Packaging System, Oracle, CRMS and NYC Streets, etc.

Provide back up to the Senior Specialist and Chief Construction Inspectors (CCI) to assist and oversee weekly contractor activities and union activities.

Fill in for CCIs when necessary.

Aid the department in administrative tasks.

Track the departments training and enter all credits in TAAR system.

Provide support for developing and reporting the department goals, metrics, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Perform field visits to develop a working knowledge of the operations performed in Construction & conduct Job Site Safety Exchanges for each location with improvement opportunities.

Manage the response and processing of Notice of Violations and Corrective Action Requests and perform research for each.

Create sketches for required permits and be able to interpret engineering drawings and understand company plates.

Assist Senior Specialists and CCIs with the training of new employees on the various systems used in Construction Management Electric.

Participate in the Companys emergency management processes and storm plans as required.

Ensure Human Performance Improvement (HPI) tools are incorporated into daily work activities.

Perform other related tasks and assignments as required to support the department.

Manage and track accuracy of DEC Waste Transporter form 360s.
Qualifications
Required Education/Experience-
Bachelor's Degree and Minimum one year, which includes cumulative work experience or equivalent internship/co-op experience, or six months of Con Edison co-op or internship experience. or

Master's Degree and Minimum one year, which includes cumulative work experience or equivalent internship/co-op experience, or six months of Con Edison co-op or internship experience.

Additional Physical Demands-
The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
