Associate Consultant

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deployment of supply chain design and network engineering in customer projects
• Provide supply chain design as project lead or subject matter expert
• Understand customers business strategies and design network solutions as subject matter expert in line with customers KPIs.
• Participate in customers meetings and workshops.
• Understand customer projects expectations in terms of time, quality and cost and deliver a concrete project plan for approval.
• Enhancement of supply chain design in accordance with the present / future logistic trends / techniques
• Close cooperation with operational experts
• Document business requirements that reflect the resolution of the customer issues or that indicate a desired customer end state
• Work in cross functional teams to prepare responses to customer requests determining approach, process, technology requirements and costs that reflect customer needs and are profitable for 3SC
• Provide expertise in integrated distribution and transportation network analysis covering: Optimum facility, Location compression planning, Facility functionality, Warehousing, Cross-docking, Inventory simulation & Optimization, Reverse logistics, RFP responses, Distribution simulation, Value added services, etc.
• Develop well engineered solutions that either resolve the identified customer issues or that lead to the desired customer end state
• Develop, maintain and apply methodologies and standard approach for supply chain design
• Apply high level cost / schedule / risk analyses for the proposed solutions
• Provide meaningful business conclusions out of complex data modelling using sophisticated simulation tools and facts driven network analysis

Education

Formal Educational background of supply chain and logistics or similar

Work Experience 3-5

Work experience of at least 3 years (Preferable - Consulting firm experience / Industry experience / Similar role).

Preferably experience in supply chain diagnostics and network optimization & Supply Chain Network tools ( Ilog,JDA, Lamasoft,Locom,Anylogistix)
