We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient ServiceNow Platform Support Consultant with a strong focus on Software Asset Management (SAM) integrations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing SAM tool integrations within the ServiceNow platform, ensuring accurate data flow, license compliance, and operational efficiency

Design, configure, and deployment of ServiceNow modules leveraging industry best practices and standards.

Contribute to the technical direction, recommend, and design the solution to leverage the ServiceNow best practices and out of the box functionality

Contribute to internal artifacts and deliverables to ensure they meet solution requirements

Prepare and maintain technical specifications and documents, architecture diagrams, system documentation, and manuals

Troubleshoot production and test issues; perform root cause analysis, recommend corrective action, and perform resolution efforts

Assist teams with associated technical and process activities
- Maintain instance integrity & security based on ServiceNow best practices

Provide functional expertise as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all application suites respective to their product line.

Contribute to the sizing and scoping of product line projects

Design, develop, and maintain integrations between ServiceNow SAM and external SAM tools.

Set up and configure SAM tool integrations, ensuring seamless data exchange and synchronization.

Define and manage data mapping, transformation, and validation rules for SAM-related data.
-
Monitor and improve the quality of integration data to support accurate software asset tracking.

Implement software and license usage monitoring solutions within ServiceNow.
-
Perform technical health checks on SAM integrations and data quality.
-
Develop and maintain discovery models and discovery mapping for accurate software identification.
-
Define and troubleshoot Software Models, Discovery Models, and Discovery Maps, including normalization improvements.

Manage access requests for the SAM module and ensure appropriate user provisioning.

Respond to and resolve incidents related to SAM integrations and data issues.
What we need to see from you-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

3+ years of experience with ServiceNow ITAM, specifically SAM Pro.

Experience with Normalization Data Services configuration

Experience with Software Asset Management Lifecycle

Experience with Hardware Asset Management Lifecycle

Experience with Procurement and Contract Management

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with emphasis on customer service, including experience handling challenging situations and conflict resolution.

Extremely organized with a high level of attention to detail

Ability to work both independently, with initiative, and as an effective member of a team

Proven experience in integrating SAM tools (e.g., Flexera, Snow, SCCM) with ServiceNow.

Strong understanding of software asset lifecycle, license models, and compliance requirements.

Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, and normalization processes.

Experience with JavaScript, Angular, HTML/CSS & Jelly
-
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – SAM or ITAM preferred. Other ServiceNow CSA certifications are bonus
