Position Description
We are seeking an experienced Power BI Architect to define, design, and govern enterprise-wide Business Intelligence architecture. This role focuses on BI strategy, solution design, scalability, governance, and performance, while providing technical leadership across multiple BI teams and programs
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Define and own the end-to-end BI and reporting architecture using Power BI
- Design scalable data models, semantic layers, and reporting frameworks
- Establish Power BI best practices, standards, and governance
- Architect and optimize data integration, ETL, and SQL-based solutions
- Oversee security, RLS, performance tuning, and capacity planning
- Guide teams on SSRS, Power BI Service, and enterprise reporting strategy
- Drive automation, monitoring, CI/CD, and DevOps adoption for BI
- Partner with business, data engineering, and leadership stakeholders
- Review solution designs, conduct architecture reviews, and mitigate risks
- Evaluate and integrate emerging BI, automation, and AI/ML capabilities
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Must-Have Skills
- 10+ years in BI, Analytics, and Reporting
- Proven experience as a Power BI Architect / BI Solution Architect
- Deep expertise in Power BI architecture (DAX optimization, data modeling, RLS, capacity management)
- Advanced SQL and data warehouse design experience
- Strong experience with ETL architecture and integration patterns
- Python automation scripting – mandatory
- Experience defining BI governance, security, and compliance
- Strong stakeholder, leadership, and decision-making skills
Good-to-Have Skills
- Cloud BI architecture (Azure/AWS/GCP)
- DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation
- Data governance, cataloging, and lineage tools
- ML/AI-enabled analytics and advanced insights
- Experience leading enterprise-scale or global BI programs
