Are you ready to redefine an industry and change lives? As a Workday Extend Techno Functional Consultant, you'll be at the forefront of transforming our ability to develop life-changing medicines. This pivotal role involves leading the technical and functional aspects of Workday Extend and Integrations, with a deep understanding of HCM, Time & Absence, and NA Payroll. You'll own the end-to-end solution architecture, platform governance, integration strategy, and extensibility across Workday and the wider enterprise. Your work will safely accelerate the adoption of Workday-Extend and harness native AI and enterprise GenAI capabilities.

Accountabilities:

• Define and implement the technical architecture for Workday application solutions, ensuring scalability, high performance, and seamless integration with other systems.
• Establish a strong foundation for Workday application modeling to build robust and reliable applications.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.
• Identify and resolve complex technical challenges related to Workday application development and deployment.
• Ensure quality and optimal performance of Workday applications through rigorous testing procedures and comprehensive code reviews.
• Explore and implement AI and machine learning capabilities within Workday applications, leveraging technologies such as predictive analytics, natural language processing, and Workday AI Gateway APIs.
• Design and implement intelligent HR workflows and virtual agents using Flowise or any third-party AI Agent and Workday Extend.
• Develop and optimize conversational AI experiences LLMs for HR use cases.
• Apply prompt engineering and fine-tuning techniques to improve model performance and contextual relevance.
• Manage change processes related to Workday applications, ensuring minimal impact on business continuity.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Completion of at least three end-to-end Workday application implementation projects or extensive experience in modern Workday application development scripting languages, including PMD Scripting, REST, JSON, Web Services, XML, and XSLT.
• Strong expertise in Workday model objects, business processes, and data modeling to create resilient data architectures.
• Solid understanding of AI and ML concepts and experience on their practical application in Workday Extend.
• In-depth knowledge and practical experience using WQL, GraphQL, Orchestrations and RaaS within Workday applications.
• Thorough understanding of Workday architecture, customization capabilities, including integration points.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Proficient with Workday orchestration for integrations (O4I) and Workday Studio with hands-on implementation experience.
• Practical experience with Workday integration technologies including Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, PECI, and PICOF.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability for complex architectural design and integration challenges.
• Active Workday Extend Certification preferred.
