Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in general dentistry and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. This role requires proficiency in various dental procedures, including pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and endodontics. The Associate Dentist will work collaboratively with our team to ensure the highest standards of dental care while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans.
  • Perform a variety of dental procedures, including but not limited to general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics.
  • Utilize dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix for medical documentation and patient record management.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
  • Educate patients on oral health practices and treatment options while addressing their concerns effectively.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in a four-handed dentistry approach to optimize patient care.
  • Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques to enhance practice efficiency and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state dental license with the ability to practice dentistry in the state of employment.
  • Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical imaging practices.
  • Familiarity with infection control standards and procedures within a dental clinic setting.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.

Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
