Associate Dentist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. This role involves performing a variety of dental procedures, working collaboratively with our team, and ensuring the highest standards of patient comfort and care.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine treatment needs
• Perform general dentistry procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics
• Provide pediatric dentistry services, ensuring a positive experience for young patients
• Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to deliver exceptional patient care
• Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices, including medical imaging and dental fabrication
• Educate patients on oral health practices and treatment options

Skills

• Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix
• Strong understanding of dental terminology and medical terminology
• Knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and treatment procedures
• Experience in endodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry preferred
• Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills with experience in managing medical documentation
• Previous dental office or clinic experience is highly desirable
