Associate Dentist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry, with experience in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery being highly desirable. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional patient care, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for all patients while adhering to the highest standards of dental practice.

Duties

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide general dentistry services including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, and extractions
• Conduct specialized procedures such as root canal therapy, endodontics, and prosthodontics
• Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques in all clinical procedures
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to ensure optimal patient care
• Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques through continuous education

Skills

• Proficient in using dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix
• Strong understanding of dental terminology and medical terminology
• Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dentistry and medical imaging techniques
• Experience in pediatric dentistry and managing young patients effectively
• Ability to perform dental extractions and other surgical procedures with precision
• Familiarity with dental fabrication processes for crowns, bridges, and dentures
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in patient care documentation
