Associate Dentist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry and be passionate about providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
• Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
• Conduct patient care with a focus on comfort and satisfaction while adhering to infection control protocols.
• Utilize dental software Open Dental and Dentrix for patient management and medical documentation.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in a four-handed dentistry environment to optimize patient flow and care delivery.
• Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
• Proficient in dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and aseptic techniques.
• Familiarity with dental imaging techniques and infection control standards.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively.
• Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
