Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their oral health is optimized through expert diagnosis, treatment planning, and delivery of high-quality dental services. Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough patient assessments, including dental examinations, medical history reviews, and oral health evaluations.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with patients’ needs and dental best practices.
  • Deliver a wide range of general dentistry procedures such as fillings, crowns, bridges, and preventive care.
  • Conduct complex procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques.
  • Utilize dental imaging technology and interpret medical imaging results to inform treatment decisions.
  • Apply advanced skills in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery when treating younger patients or performing surgical interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office protocols.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive measures to promote long-term oral health.
  • Collaborate effectively with the dental team using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
  • Ensure infection control standards are strictly followed to maintain a safe clinical environment.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental terminology, procedures, and technology to continually improve patient care quality.

Qualifications

  • Valid state license to practice dentistry with current credentials in good standing.
  • Proven experience in general dentistry within a busy dental clinic or office setting; prior experience with dental office software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Dolphin is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control protocols.
  • Demonstrated expertise in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry procedures.
  • Familiarity with medical records management and HIPAA compliance standards.
  • Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and communicate treatment plans clearly.
  • Ability to work efficiently within a team using four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize workflow.
