Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. Duties

  • Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and medical/dental history review
  • Deliver a wide range of dental treatments such as restorations, extractions, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures
  • Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate treatment plans and educate patients on oral health practices
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and update medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff
  • Use dental imaging technology to diagnose conditions accurately and plan appropriate treatments
  • Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry to improve workflow efficiency and patient comfort
  • Manage dental fabrication processes for crowns, bridges, dentures, or other prosthetic devices as needed
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory standards including HIPAA, OSHA, and other applicable guidelines

Qualifications

  • Valid state license to practice dentistry with current DEA registration if applicable
  • Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental office procedures and patient care
  • Familiarity with dental software such as Open Dental platforms for scheduling, documentation, and billing
  • Strong knowledge of all type dentistry, including working with pediatric patients (pediatrics) and understanding their specific needs
  • Expertise in oral surgery techniques including dental extractions and infection control measures
  • Experience performing root canal therapy and prosthodontic procedures
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, medical imaging, and infection prevention protocols
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages while demonstrating empathy and professionalism
  • Experience with dental implant restorations, including implant crown cementation and knowledge of proper implant occlusion, cement selection, and peri-implant tissue management
