Duties

  • Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and prosthodontics
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental histories, to develop personalized treatment plans
  • Execute dental treatment with precision and care
  • Utilize dental imaging technology and maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety during all procedures
  • Collaborate with team members on four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options to promote long-term oral health

Experience

  • Proven experience in general dentistry with a strong background in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery preferred
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy to accurately diagnose and treat patients
  • Demonstrated ability to handle medical imaging procedures and interpret results effectively
  • Prior experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment is essential for success in this role
  • Familiarity with infection control standards and HIPAA compliance ensures the highest level of patient confidentiality and safety
  • Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient populations including pediatrics
