We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Associate Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using dental terminology and medical imaging techniques.
- Deliver a wide range of general dentistry services such as dental restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics with precision and aseptic technique.
- Conduct oral surgery procedures, including dental extractions and other surgical interventions, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout.
- Utilize dental software systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Archy for accurate medical documentation, record keeping, and treatment planning.
- Implement infection control protocols adhering to HIPAA regulations and best practices in medical records management.
- Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care, and treatment options to promote long-term dental wellness.
- Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient experience.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to pediatric dentistry and general practice.
Qualifications
- Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice as an Associate Dentist.
- Proven experience in dental office environments or clinics with a focus on general dentistry or pediatric dentistry preferred.
- Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Archy, or Dentrix is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of infection control standards, aseptic techniques, and medical imaging procedures.
- Knowledge of endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics (dental fabrication), and oral surgery techniques including extractions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures using clear dental terminology.
- Ability to perform detailed patient assessments while demonstrating compassion and professionalism in patient care.
