Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery with precision and care.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments utilizing dental terminology, medical documentation, and medical imaging to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Deliver exceptional patient care by explaining procedures clearly, addressing concerns, and ensuring comfort throughout treatments.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control standards.
  • Utilize dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix to schedule appointments, document treatments, and manage patient information efficiently.
  • Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to uphold the highest standards of safety within the clinic environment.
  • Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to optimize workflow and enhance patient outcomes.
  • Stay current with advancements in dental technology and procedures to continually improve service quality.

Experience

  • Proven experience working in a dental office or clinic setting with a strong foundation in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry.
  • Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical records management.
  • Hands-on experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery procedures.
  • Knowledge of infection control practices, aseptic techniques, and medical imaging technologies.
  • Prior use of dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy relevant to dentistry and the ability to interpret dental radiographs accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills for patient assessment and education while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
