Pediatric Dentist or General with Pediatric experience

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Dentist to join our practice on a part-time basis. This position is open to board-certified pediatric dentists as well as general dentists with a strong background and experience in pediatric dentistry. The ideal candidate is confident treating children in a supportive, efficient, and positive clinical environment. We require an Oral Conscious Sedation Permit for both Adults and Pediatrics. The office can help in acquiring the certificates

Work Schedule

• Part-time/Full-time position
• Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Compensation

• Daily rate starting at $1,200 to per day
• Compensation may increase based on experience, productivity, and skill set

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat oral health conditions in infants, children, and adolescents up to 18 years old..
• Develop and present comprehensive treatment plans for pediatric patients.
• Perform preventive, restorative and surgical pediatric dental procedures.
• Provide oral sedation when indicated; experience with oral sedation is required.
• Manage pediatric dental emergencies and utilize appropriate behavior guidance techniques.
• Supervise dental assistants and collaborate with the clinical team.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Educate parents and caregivers on oral hygiene, prevention, and post-operative care.
• Participate in staff meetings and support clinical protocols.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
• Board-certified Pediatric Dentist OR General Dentist with a strong background in pediatric dentistry.
• Active dental license in good standing (state-specific).
• Experience and competency in oral sedation for pediatric patients.
• Current BLS certification (PALS preferred or willingness to obtain).

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship, Contract

Pay: $1,200.00 - $2,000.00 per day
