Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Associate in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible to:

  • Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing outreach education programmes in maternal health, reproductive health, and family planning.
  • Coordinate awareness sessions, workshops, and training activities in collaboration with faculty, clinical teams, and programme leads.
  • Support the design and execution of women’s health campaigns and community engagement initiatives.
  • Map outreach opportunities and establish linkages with schools, community organizations, NGOs, and healthcare facilities.
  • Coordinate with internal academic and clinical teams to align outreach and research activities with departmental objectives.
  • Maintain systematic documentation of programme activities, participation records, and outcomes for monitoring and evaluation purposes.
  • Support grant-related and donor-funded project activities, including data collection, reporting, and compliance documentation.
  • Maintain records of outreach contracts, financial tracking, and highlight budget variances to project leads.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with community stakeholders and local health authorities.

Requirements:

You should have:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Public Health, Social Sciences, Health Education, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in programme coordination, community engagement, health education, or research administration (preferably in maternal and reproductive health).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate cross-functional activities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Familiarity with data collection tools and monitoring frameworks.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
