Associate Designer, Kids Sleepwear/Intimates

Summary: IHL is looking for an Associate Designer, Kids Sleepwear/Intimates to join our team! This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to grow with the company.

IHL Group was established in 2007. Since it opened its doors, IHL Group has securely positioned itself as a recognized manufacturer and wholesaler with its North American and global presence across all major channels.

Responsibilities:

• Creating flat sketches & CAD presentations providing a color / print
  vision for each season.
• Create moodboards and color cards.
• Conducts trend research.
• Support the team in tech pack development (BOM and construction pages)
• Communicate with Design and Production through e-mail & Google Docs.
• Organize, enter information and keep record of submits pertaining to the product group assigned.
• Follow up on pending submits according to delivery calendar.
• Run reports and share information with cross-functional partners.
• Maintain a submit library.
• Making sure each step of the product process from inception to production is carefully reviewed & followed with a lot of attention to
  detail. Including fittings, lab dips, etc.
• Review all submits received from the factories (lab dips, strike offs, fabric bulks, trims, etc.)

Qualifications:

• Fashion/Graphic design degree.
• Relevant design experience in kids sleepwear or apparel, 2-5 years preferred.
• Skilled in Illustrator & Photoshop.
• Highly Creative and positive addition to company culture.

Job Logistics

Location: New York, NY – Midtown West

Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $75,000
