W Health has set up India’s first healthcare focused Venture Studio called 2070 Health - an innovation platform that builds transformative healthcare companies from scratch by discovering disruptive opportunities in whitespaces. Distinct from the accelerator approach, our venture studio is closely involved in idea generation, day-to-day operations, and strategic decisions of growing the new business. Companies incubated in the last 24 months include Elevate Now, Nivaan Care, Reveal Healthtech and BabyMD and Everhope Oncology.

Role Summary

As Associate Director – Brand Development, you will own end‑to‑end brand development for a slate of early‑stage ventures: from insight and positioning to naming, identity, launch, and early‑scale playbooks.

Work as a strategic partner to venture founders and studio leaders, helping define what each company stands for, who it serves, and how it shows up across every touchpoint.

Build brands that patients trust, clinicians believe in, and investors rally behind – with clear, differentiated narratives and disciplined execution.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop brand architectures, positioning, and messaging frameworks for multiple zero‑to‑one healthcare ventures.
  • Own customer and consumer understanding, identifying their barriers and triggers to purchase
  • Lead the creation of naming, visual identities, tone of voice, and core narratives, working with internal and external creative partners where needed.
  • Develop customer segmentation and drive marketing plans to grow different segments through customer lifecycle of acquisition, engagement, retention, and growth
  • Design and run launch and early‑growth brand campaigns across multiple channels (organic, social, content, partnerships) tailored to each venture’s stage and target audience.
  • Drive programs and projects across the various customer touch points to drive customer consideration and trust for our brands
  • Be a passionate advocate for customers and help ensure a thorough and intuitive user experience while meeting business goals
  • Build modular brand systems and templates that founders can use to scale consistently across product, marketing, and offline experiences.
  • Partner closely with product, growth, and clinical teams to ensure brand is embedded into user journeys (from WhatsApp and apps to clinics, reports, and video content).
  • Set up success metrics (awareness, consideration, engagement, NPS) for each venture and use insights to refine brand strategy and creative.
  • Mentor and collaborate with a small cross‑functional squad (design, content, performance) to deliver high‑quality, on‑time brand work across the portfolio.

Requirements

Who you are:

  • 5-6 years of experience in brand building/marketing, ideally with exposure to healthcare, consumer tech, or mission‑driven brands.
  • Proven track record of taking brands from zero to one (or early to growth), from conception to successful launch and adoption with ownership of both strategy and on‑ground execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams including business, growth, product and analytics,
  • Strong understanding of marketing channels both digital and non-digital
  • Demonstrated ability to find actionable, data-driven insights to shape product offering and marketing strategy based on deep understanding of our customers
  • Comfortable context‑switching across categories and audiences, and prioritizing ruthlessly across multiple parallel projects.
  • Digitally native and experimentation‑oriented – you know how to use AI, no‑code tools, and short‑form content to move fast on lean budgets.
  • Exceptional storyteller and communicator, able to simplify complex ideas and bring founders, clinicians, and stakeholders along.
