Summary

We are looking for a strategic and innovative Senior Leader to spearhead the growth and development of our International beauty category within Myntra’s ecosystem. This role requires deep expertise in the beauty industry, international business development to drive growth and market penetration in key markets

Key Responsibilities

  • Category Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive category strategy for building the International beauty segment on Myntra. Define short-term and long-term objectives to drive sales, profitability, and market share.
  • Partnership Development & Management: Establish and nurture strategic relationships with beauty brands, suppliers, distributors, and key stakeholders to expand the availability of top International beauty brands on Myntra
  • Myntra Advertising and Marketing: Collaborate with Myntra Advertising teams to develop and execute effective marketing campaigns, promotions, and sponsored product strategies to drive traffic and sales for beauty products.
  • Performance Optimization: Utilize data analytics and insights to optimize performance metrics including sales, conversion rates, traffic, and profitability. Implement strategies to improve rankings and visibility of beauty products on Myntra.
  • Customer Experience: Lead initiatives to enhance the customer shopping experience for International Beauty products on Myntra. Work with UX/UI teams to optimize product pages, content, and reviews.
  • Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behavior within the beauty category on Amazon. Leverage insights to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Build and lead a high-performing team of beauty category specialists. Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development to ensure team success and alignment with business goals.

Requirements

  • Proven track record (8-10 years) in senior leadership roles within the beauty industry, specifically in e-commerce and business development.
  • Extensive experience and success in working for International Beauty Brands or as partners to the Brands.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data-driven decision-making and performance optimization.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships.
  • Self-directed focus and ability to prioritize within an ambiguous environment
  • Ability to execute and follow through on high-quality output, with limited oversight
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and influence/rally/align them towards a common goal
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability to lead people
