 Role Summary:
 
 
 We are seeking an experienced and well-connected professional to lead the acquisition and onboarding of international fashion brands. This strategic role focuses on expanding our portfolio by identifying and securing partnerships with global fashion and lifestyle brands across apparel and non-apparel segments.
 
 
 The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record of brand sourcing, commercial negotiation, and managing end-to-end onboarding of global labels, with a deep understanding of consumer trends and operational requirements in the fashion retail sector.
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 International Brand Acquisition
 
 
 Identify and evaluate international fashion and lifestyle brands that align with the company s growth strategy and market positioning.
 
 
 Proactively build and maintain relationships with global brand owners, principals, and agencies.
 
 
 Attend key fashion weeks, trade fairs, and industry events to scout new and emerging brands.
 
 
 Strategic Negotiations &amp; Deal Structuring
 
 
 Lead negotiations for brand acquisition deals including exclusive distribution, licensing, or joint ventures.
 
 
 Define and finalize key commercial terms margins, royalties, pricing, inventory models, and territory rights.
 
 
 Work closely with legal and finance teams to structure contracts that align with company goals and risk management.
 
 
 Onboarding &amp; Integration
 
 
 Oversee the full onboarding process including brand education, operational alignment, and integration into existing retail systems.
 
 
 Collaborate with cross-functional teams merchandising, marketing, supply chain, legal, and retail operations to ensure a smooth and timely launch.
 
 
 Define go-to-market strategies and localization plans in collaboration with the brand and internal teams.
 
 
 Market Intelligence &amp; Portfolio Strategy
 
 
 Conduct regular competitive benchmarking and consumer trend analysis to inform brand acquisition decisions.
 
 
 Ensure a balanced and differentiated brand portfolio across categories, price points, and customer segments.
 
 
 Present business cases and ROI analysis to senior leadership for each brand acquisition.
 
 
 Stakeholder &amp; Relationship Management
 
 
 Serve as the primary point of contact for international brand partners.
 
 
 Build long-term, trust-based relationships to ensure ongoing brand support, collaboration, and growth.
 
 
 
 
 
 Candidate Profile:
 
 
 MBA or Master s degree in Business, International Trade, Fashion Management, or related field.
 
 
 10-14 years of experience in business development, brand partnerships, or licensing within fashion retail or luxury lifestyle brands.
 
 
 Demonstrated success in acquiring and launching international brands into new markets.
 
 
 Strong global network within the fashion industry; exposure to European, American, or Asian brands is a plus.
 
 
 Excellent negotiation, communication, and cross-cultural relationship-building skills.
 
 
 Commercially astute with strong P&amp;L understanding and project management skills.
 
 
 Ability to travel internationally as needed.

 The Lead Associate &ndash; Planning plays a pivotal role in driving strategic planning initiatives and ensuring operational efficiency across the organization. This position requires a strong foundation in merchandising, inventory management, and data-driven decision-making. You will be responsible for developing and executing planning strategies that align with business goals,
 
 
 optimize inventory flow, and enhance category performance.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 Inventory &amp; OTB Management

 Monitor inventory health and plan inward movement based on GMV, DOH, and STR targets
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure optimal stock levels to support sales and profitability goals
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Assortment &amp; Selection Planning
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Create season-level buy plans and assortment strategies using historical performance and revenue targets
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure comprehensive category representation across product lines
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Performance Analysis &amp; Optimization
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Review style-level metrics including ROS, Sell-through, RPI, and RGM
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify underperforming styles and implement corrective actions
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Category Expansion &amp; Product Gaps
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Analyze assortment gaps and recommend brand or category additions to strengthen offerings
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Pricing &amp; Discount Strategy

 Collaborate with category teams to secure timely pricing controls (SOR/OR)
 </li>

 Drive discounting strategies aligned with profitability and planned STR/GM/RGM
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Merchandising Operations

 Oversee inbound planning, cataloguing, and discount monitoring
 </li>

 Ensure smooth execution of merchandising workflows with operational excellence

 Qualifications &amp; Skills:

 Education - Graduate from NIFT or a reputed institution
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience - 6&ndash;7 years (Graduate) or 4&ndash;5 years (Postgraduate) in buying/planning/merchandising
 </li>
 <li>
 Domain Knowledge - Strong understanding of planning and inventory management (E-commerce experience preferred)
 </li>
 <li>
 Technical Skills - Advanced MS Excel: familiarity with SQL is a plus
 </li>
 <li>
