We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Associate Director, Clinical Trial Lead to join our Global Development Operations team. This role is pivotal in leading high-impact, global Phase III and registrational clinical trials in an outsourced model. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration across international teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead global clinical trial teams and manage complex, high-risk projects.
  • Develop and execute clinical trial strategies, ensuring delivery within budget, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Serve as the primary operational contact for assigned trials and represent GDO in global trial teams.
  • Oversee CROs, vendors and ensure compliance with corporate standards.
  • Provide operational input on protocols, ICFs, and CSRs.
  • Lead training initiatives and contribute to department-wide process improvements.
  • Ensure inspection readiness and manage CAPAs effectively.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to talent development.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree preferred (MPH, MS, MA, MBA, PharmD); PM certification (CPM, PMP) desirable.
  • Minimum 10 years of clinical research experience, with at least 7 years in clinical trial management.
  • Proven leadership in managing global trials and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities.
  • Experience in therapeutic areas and drug development processes.

Pay range for this position: $150,200- $225,300

Our ranges are derived from several sources, and largely reliant on relevant industry market data. Should we decide to make an offer, we will consider several factors, including but not limited to your location, skills, experience, career level, and other job-related factors. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses.
