As part of the Employee Relations role, you will be responsible for addressing conflicts, grievances, conducting Investigations, providing guidance on disciplinary actions and promoting fair treatment.
The Employee Relations function is uniquely positioned to shape a consistent employee experience by engaging with employees and leaders at critical moments in the life cycle of the employment relationship. At a broader level it helps foster a sense of community within an organization. It is the custodian for addressing workplace conflicts, handling disciplinary actions, harassment matters, data loss prevention matters, bribery matters, social media post/fraud matters, enabling high performance, background checks, conflict of interests, employment terms & conditions and legal matters.

1. Conflict Resolution: Conduct investigations and address employee concerns, including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, workplace violence, and other violations of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
2. Training & Development and Coaching:
- Act as a consultant for HRBPs on all topics, but not limited to and pertaining to employee issues, performance concerns, conversations pertaining to medical and health issues, probation extension and so on.
- Coaching HR and first-time managers on ER matters acting as a trusted advisor to stakeholders.

Conduct training sessions on employee relations topics, such as conflict resolutions, performance management, and company policies.

Shares learnings across HR team, taken from individual cases, advisory activities and external landscape, to improve knowledge and understanding of ER issues across the team
3. Policy development (ER Policy & Projects):
- Support the ongoing refresh of employment policies and toolkits, including drafting and supporting communications roll out as appropriate. Ensure policies are consistently applied and interpreted across the organisation.

Deliver key ER projects, including case management process improvement, market practice pertaining to ER, data insights and ER training for HR as well as stakeholders

Identify wider areas for process and policy improvement to streamline management of ER matters to improve experience for line managers and employees.
4. Risk mitigation
- Increase the touch points in the organization by connecting with business leaders, understanding the concerns
5. ER Technical expertise-
Continue to develop strong understanding of core ER policies and procedures and associated employment laws.

Attends external employment law events to ensure advice is up to date with both current legislation and case laws.
6. Compliance & Maintaining Records-
Maintain accurate records of employee relations cases and actions taken.

Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations

Post Graduate in HR or Law
-
8-10 years of minimum work experience in Employee Relations or a related HR role

Ability to remain calm under pressure and deal positively with people in difficult situations.

Demonstrated experience of managing non-complex and complex ER cases from inception to satisfactory conclusion
