The Team
Our Financial Services Consulting team partners with banks, insurance companies, asset managers, and fintechs to navigate complex challenges in a fast-evolving industry. We deliver strategic, operational, and technological solutions that drive growth, enhance risk management, ensure regulatory compliance, and improve customer experience. Combining deep industry knowledge with analytical expertise, we help clients transform their business models, optimize performance, and stay ahead of market trends. We are looking for an Associate Director to join in the financial services team. Considering the pace of targeted growth, we are keen to find a person who is entrepreneurial, driven by a passion to drive significant growth, is comfortable with ambiguity, will roll up the sleeves and be hands on to get things done and can be independent requiring limited cover.
How you will contribute
We are looking for a seasoned consulting professional with experience in process transformation, operational excellence, and business change within the Financial Services sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in leading complex transformation engagements, designing and implementing future-state operating models, and driving measurable impact through process re-engineering, digitization, and automation initiatives.
This role demands a blend of strategic problem-solving and operational rigor - someone who can partner with senior client stakeholders, translate business challenges into actionable transformation roadmaps, and lead high-performing consulting teams to deliver sustainable results. Given our growth ambitions, we seek an individual who is entrepreneurial, outcome-oriented, hands-on, and comfortable operating with ambiguity while driving multiple priorities independently.
  • Lead Transformation Engagements: Lead and deliver end-to-end process and operations transformation programs across key areas such as retail banking, corporate banking, insurance, asset managers, payments. Drive initiatives in cost optimization, productivity improvement, process (re)design, operating model redesign, and digital enablement for financial services clients.
  • Solution Design & Delivery: Develop holistic transformation solutions integrating process re-engineering, automation (RPA/AI), analytics, and technology enablement to address client pain points. Define target operating models, process KPIs, and performance dashboards to ensure measurable outcomes and long-term sustainability.
  • Client Engagement & Relationship Management: Build trusted relationships with onshore teams, C-suite and senior stakeholders. Advise clients on strategic transformation priorities, operating model evolution, and implementation roadmaps aligned to their business objectives.
  • Program & Change Management: Oversee multi-stream transformation programs ensuring delivery excellence, risk management, and stakeholder alignment. Drive change management initiatives to support adoption of new processes, systems, and behaviors.
  • Practice Development & Thought Leadership: Contribute to the growth of the Financial Services consulting practice through solution development, go-to-market support, and client proposals.
  • Team Leadership & Capability Building: Lead, coach, and mentor teams of consultants, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and performance excellence. Develop internal capabilities in process transformation frameworks, design thinking, and operational analytics.

Qualifications
  • Experience: 12–14 years of relevant experience experience in risk consulting within a top consulting firm
  • Domain Breadth: Proven exposure to multiple risk domains (enterprise, credit, market, operational, conduct, compliance, technology/cyber, ESG).
  • Regulatory Understanding: Strong grasp of global and local regulatory requirements (e.g., Basel III/IV, PRA/FCA, ECB, RBI, IRDAI).
  • Transformation Delivery: Experience in risk process and governance transformation programs, including target operating model design and automation of risk processes.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical capability, with experience in risk data, MI, and control assessment frameworks.
  • Client Leadership: Demonstrated ability to engage senior client stakeholders, and manage delivery of multi-stakeholder engagements.
  • People Leadership: Experience managing and developing high-performing teams in a consulting or risk advisory context.
