Job Title: Associate Director – iTero Distributor, Lab, Government Channel & GEO X projects
Job Summary
The Associate Director will lead and manage nationwide sales operations for iTero distribution, Lab, Government businesses and work on new projects. This role is responsible for developing strategic sales plans, driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of the medical device industry, and proven experience in managing distributor networks.
In this role, you will…
- Strategic Planning & Execution
- Develop and implement national sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Set annual sales targets and regional quotas; monitor performance and adjust plans as needed.
- Distributor Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and key accounts.
- Negotiate distribution agreements and ensure adherence to contractual terms.
- Expansion with partners in T2/T3 cities in focus.
- Create & execute Training programs apt for partner field force
- Create periodical sales performance and marketing progress monitoring process for all associated partners and drive reviews monthly.
- Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, and manage regional sales managers and representatives.
- Provide coaching, performance feedback, and ensure team alignment with goals.
- Market Development
- Identify new business opportunities and emerging markets.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine strategies.
- Create new markets in least penetrated areas through new partner onboarding.
- Develop Tender based accounts by mapping tenders, work with right channel to create need, ensure right budgeting from authorises and execute both technical and commercial rounds to win over.
- Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports for senior leadership.
- Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing and product teams to support promotional campaigns and product launches.
- Coordinate with supply chain and operations to ensure timely product availability.
In this role, you’ll need …
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Life Sciences, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 10–12 years of experience in medical device sales, with at least 5 years in a national leadership role.
- Strong understanding of distributor-driven business models.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to analyze data and develop actionable insights.
- Willingness to travel extensively across regions.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of CRM tools and sales analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the medical device industry.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
