Job Purpose

  • The Associate Director – Network Operations (Mobility) is responsible for the end-to-end control, coordination and reporting, of all guest, employee, and logistics movements across land, sea, and air within the Red Sea destination. The role ensures the seamless integration of all modes of transport into a single, safe, efficient, and guest-centric operational network that supports the broader destination experience.



Job Responsibilities


Operational Control & Coordination

  • Oversee the real-time control of multimodal operations, including ground transport, marine vessels, and aviation movements.
  • Maintain visibility and situational awareness across all modes to ensure continuity of service and rapid response to disruptions.
  • Manage a proactive function which establishing processes that anticipate “pinch-points” in the service delivery model and corrects them before impacting the guest experience within the destination.
  • Manage the Network Operations Centre (NOC) function, ensuring robust coordination and communication between all operational teams.


Service Delivery & Standards

  • Ensure all mobility operations meet defined service standards, operational KPIs, and safety protocols.
  • Drive consistency and reliability of guest transfers, staff logistics, and internal fleet operations.
  • Implement continuous improvement processes to enhance operational efficiency and the end-to-end journey experience.
  • Provides assessment and reporting on customer complaints and service failures related to mobility and determines appropriate remediation in line with corporate policies.


Safety, Risk & Compliance

  • Apply safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.
  • Lead Mobility network incident management and recovery processes, ensuring timely resolution and root-cause analysis.


Strategic Integration & Planning

  • Contribute to long-term network planning, capacity management, and infrastructure design for the destination’s evolving mobility ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders (Guest Experience, Aviation, Marine, Ground Operations, Sustainability) to align operational execution with destination strategy.
  • Support the digital transformation of network control through data-driven decision tools, automation, and smart systems.


Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of controllers, coordinators, within the Transport Operations Coordination Centre.
  • Build a performance-oriented culture that values accountability, collaboration, and proactive problem-solving.
  • Drive professional development, ensuring the team remains skilled in modern mobility operations and technologies.


Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Transport, Management, Logistics or a related discipline
  • Minimum five years of experience in complex, multimodal transport or network operations, with at least two years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in managing a multi-disciplinary/functional operational environment
  • Strong background in control center operations, transport scheduling, and operational risk management would be advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
