Associate Director of IOP

Role Summary

The Associate Director of IOP provides clinical and people leadership for the Intensive Outpatient Program team. This role ensures high-quality clinical care, effective staff leadership, smooth program operations, and continuous improvement of outcomes within the IOP. The Associate Director balances direct clinical involvement with leadership, oversight, and strategic contribution aligned with organizational goals. The Associate Director will work closely with the Senior Director of Specialty Clinics to manage revenue and expenditures and grow services in order to expand access to the communities MMHC serves.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversight of Clinical Team outcomes and metrics
  • Support clinical team via recognition, coaching, skill development, performance management, and regular check-ins
  • Participate in strategic problem solving, planning, and execution
  • Partner with the Senior Director of Operations – Specialty Clinics to optimize client experience, clinical outcomes, and business performance
  • Approves PTO and scheduling adjustments to maintain program coverage
  • Recommends and implements program improvements and operational changes
  • Maintain a client case load offering of group and individual therapy

Compensation

  • Base salary: $91,000 annually (exempt)
  • Expected total compensation after bonus: $103,000 annually

Qualifications

  • Completed Master’s or Doctoral Degree (LICSW, LPC, LPCC, LMFT or Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an accredited academic program)
  • Established leadership experience that includes oversight of clinicians (licensed and unlicensed), project management, navigating operational efficiencies, assisting with change management and prioritizing employee engagement and retention
  • Experience providing supervision and professional development to unlicensed clinicians and licensed clinicians
  • Current active license in the state of Minnesota
  • Good standing with the professional board
  • Experience providing clinical services in an outpatient setting
