Work you’ll do

Your role

As an Associate Director in our team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager who would lead end-to-end delivery of CRD VI / CRR III regulatory change projects. The role focuses on project governance, credit risk regulatory implementation, data remediation, and coordination across Risk, Finance, and Technology teams. The position requires strong understanding of Basel III reforms, credit risk processes, regulatory reporting, and banking data architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Governance: - Manage end-to-end project planning, scope definition, and timeline tracking for CRD VI / CRR III regulatory initiatives. Maintain strong governance through RAID management, milestone reporting, and adherence to PMO standards.
  • Regulatory Impact & Requirement Analysis: - Interpret CRD VI regulatory changes and convert them into clear business and technical requirements. Conduct impact assessments to identify process, data, and system changes needed for regulatory compliance.
  • Requirements Documentation & Traceability: - Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Ensure requirements are properly documented, traceable, and aligned with regulatory expectations.
  • Data & System Remediation Delivery: - Oversee data sourcing, data quality remediation, and system updates required for new capital and RWA calculations. Coordinate with IT, data teams, and risk SMEs to ensure changes meet BCBS 239 and CRR III standards.
  • SIT/UAT Testing Management: - Define testing strategy, develop test cases, and manage SIT/UAT execution across functional teams. Ensure defect resolution, requirement traceability, and obtain signoffs to support deployment readiness.
  • Cross-Functional Stakeholder Coordination: - Work closely with Risk, Finance, Regulatory Reporting, Technology, and Model teams to align deliverables. Lead meetings, workshops, and governance forums to resolve dependencies and keep workstreams on track.
  • Status Reporting & Management Updates: - Prepare project status reports, dashboards, and updates for senior management and steering committees. Highlight risks, issues, and mitigation plans to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Compliance, Controls & Audit Support: - Ensure project activities align with compliance requirements, control frameworks, and regulatory standards. Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, evidence, and responses.
  • Go-Live Readiness & Post-Implementation Support: - Manage deployment planning, cutover activities, and coordination with business and technology teams. Provide post-go-live support, monitor issues, and ensure a stable transition to BAU operations.

Skills & Experience Required:
  • Strong knowledge of CRD VI, CRR III, Basel III, Pillar 1 & Pillar 2, RWA calculations, and credit risk parameters (PD, LGD, EAD).
  • Experience with regulatory reporting frameworks such as COREP, FINREP, and risk data aggregation standards (BCBS 239).
  • Hands-on experience in data migration, data sourcing, data lineage, data quality remediation, and data governance.
  • Solid understanding of credit risk processes, ICAAP, model governance, and capital adequacy requirements.
  • Expertise in preparing BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and managing requirement traceability.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, project governance, RAID management, and delivery oversight.
  • Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and PMO reporting tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills, stakeholder management capabilities, and cross-functional coordination experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
  • Advanced qualifications preferred: MBA, CFA, FRM, PRM, PMP, or Prince2.
  • Experience in Tier-1 banks, consulting firms, or regulatory transformation projects.
  • Familiarity with ICAAP submissions, supervisory reviews, and internal/external audit interactions.
  • Exposure to large-scale data remediation, risk model implementation, or regulatory reporting change projects.
