Purpose:

The Associate Director Integrated Analytics – Immunology (IMM) Portfolio position is primarily responsible for leading the integration and execution of analytics to generate new business insights and uncover growth opportunities across the IMM Portfolio. This position will serve as an internal consultant to marketing and sales, and broader business partners: delivering business building recommendations, shaping decision-making, and driving organizational action. The position plays a key role in guiding the commercial team in the development and evaluation of new and existing business strategies and tactics and as a result, shares accountability for business results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, craft and complete analytics which inform Immunology marketing and sales strategy and tactics.
• Leverage disparate data and insight sources to address key business questions and uncover business opportunities, evaluate business performance, and assess impact of marketing and sales tactics.
• Determine optimal analytical approaches, develop strong partnerships in the context of resources, timing, and overall project goals.
• Develop insights and actionable recommendations and influence business partners at all levels to incorporate in decision making.
• Find opportunities to embed StAT capabilities (Advanced Analytics, Access Insights, Patient Engagement, etc.) to drive impact for brand or franchise and drive organizational efficiencies.
• Serve as a leader in integrating data and analytics (national, subnational, payer) with findings and insights developed by peers across the Strategic Insights & Analytics team
• Demonstrate leadership courage to set boundaries and ensure time is spent on the most critical/ high value projects
• Drive a culture of simplicity to ensure business processes are streamlined and partners are provided on-demand insights that translate to action.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Education:

BA/BS is the minimum requirement; advanced degree is desirable

Experience and Skills

Required:

Minimum of 7 years of relevant business experience in marketing, finance, analytics, management consulting or related field team experience

The ability to work in Horsham, PA location 3 days a week and travel domestically up to 10%.

Current or previous experience within the pharmaceutical industry, including knowledge of pharma datasets.

Knowledge across a broad spectrum of analytic and market research approaches and ability to identify appropriate approach(es) to address key business questions.

Experience in developing comprehensive and impactful recommendations and innovative solutions that drive key decisions.

Preferred:

Expertise in domain specific data sets for Immunology (medical claims, pharmacy claims, and sales data - data sources such as IQVIA, SHS)

Fluency in Tableau or PowerBI, as well as SAS, SQL, or Dataiku to work with large datasets in J&J Innovative Medicine CDP

Strength in storytelling, data visualization and developing effective presentations

General management mindset, business acumen and strategic thinking

Strong leadership agility and demonstrated success solving ambiguous business issues
