We are searching for the best talent for an Associate Director, Translational Sciences (TS) Program Lead, Immunology Translational Sciences and Medicine (TSM) to be located in Cambridge, MA or Spring House, PA
Translational Sciences and Medicine (TSM) is an integrated group of scientists composed of a clinical Translational Medicine (TM) team which conducts early clinical development and experimental medicine studies, and a Translational Sciences (TS) team which uses human based data and tissues to support the end to end portfolio. Together, the TSM group will provide the key learnings/insights on the next wave of novel therapies for these patients. Organizationally, TSM serves as a pivotal bridge between Discovery Research and the later phase Clinical Development group. TSM provides the necessary scientific and clinical expertise to advance an industry-leading pipeline of novel mechanism small molecules and biologic agents to address unmet need in immune-mediated diseases.
TS has a broad remit stretching from support of discovery with human data to support target selection, through development of novel decision- making biomarkers for early phase clinical trials, target-centric indication sequencing and prioritization, and biomarker support of regulatory filings. It has expertise in biomarker development, disease biology research and in the application of immunology and data science technologies to support drug discovery and development.
This position will reside within the Immunology Translational Sciences department and requires a highly motivated and skilled candidate to lead the clinical progression of innovative therapies across Respiratory diseases.
Respiratory Translational Sciences team leads the development of innovative therapies for respiratory immune-mediated diseases such as asthma, COPD, and other T2 and non-T2 inflammatory conditions. You can influence the future of respiratory medicine by advancing biomarker-driven patient stratification, disease pathway understanding, and novel therapeutic approaches that restore respiratory health to millions from discovery to late stage clinical development
The Associate Director will serve as a Program Lead within Respiratory Translational Sciences. This leadership role requires a deep understanding of respiratory immunology, biomarker development, and translational research. The successful candidate will guide preclinical, early and late clinical programs, oversee biomarker assay development, and lead cross-functional collaborations to accelerate the development of transformative respiratory therapies.
The Associate Director will also bring a strategic, discovery-oriented mindset to translational science, with proven expertise in respiratory endpoints and sample matrices, immune cell profiling, and biomarker validation relevant to asthma, COPD, and other respiratory diseases. This role involves leading high-caliber translational biomarker initiatives, mentoring scientists, and ensuring the delivery of data supporting key program milestones.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is: $137,000 - $232,300
