Opportunity –

As an Associate Editor, you will:

  • Manage the timely production of high-quality digital and print learning materials within set budgets.
  • Independently handle projects from research and inception to final sign-off.
  • Develop content plans for English language learning products.
  • Create age-appropriate and creative storyboards for digital content.
  • Conceptualize, edit, and quality-check digital content in formats such as videos, animations, slideshows, audio, and interactivities using the latest tools.
  • Conduct research using credible educational resources to develop content.
  • Coordinate with authors, editors, designers, and technology partners to ensure smooth workflows.
  • Identify, train, and manage freelance content creators/editors.
  • Develop product training presentations and creative marketing content.
  • Maintain and update a repository of efficiently tagged content/assets.
  • Ensure completion of tasks within agreed schedules and assist in planning and managing timelines.

Your work will directly impact the quality of ELT resources, supporting teachers and learners across India and reinforcing OUP’s reputation for excellence.


About You


Essential Criteria

  • Excellent command of English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sound editorial and content development skills.
  • Understanding of e-learning and latest EdTech developments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 360, Google Docs/Sheets, Adobe Suite, and at least one online course-authoring tool.
  • Creativity and strong visualization skills.
  • Minute attention to detail and understanding of pedagogy.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work under strict deadlines.
  • Effective organizational skills.

Desirable Criteria

  • Post-graduation in English or a diploma/certificate in Publishing.
  • Experience in creating digital content and managing projects end-to-end.
