ABOUT THE ROLE

Condé Nast Traveller Middle East is seeking an enthusiastic content creator to join its team in Dubai.They will be responsible for generating engaging stories for Conde Nast Traveller Middle East’s digital and social platforms.


Reporting to the Head of Editorial Content, the ideal candidate will have five to six years’ journalism experience, a proven track record of generating digital content, and knowledge of travel trends across the Middle East and North Africa, as well as the region’s broader luxury, fashion, food and cultural

industries.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generating ideas, on a daily basis, for the Condé Nast Traveller Middle East website, identifying timely news angles, evergreen feature ideas and SEO-friendly articles that will have a tangible impact on boosting traffic to the site.
  • Editing stories from freelance contributors.
  • Checking and uploading content to our site.
  • Conducting research and keeping abreast of trends and key happenings in the travel and luxury industries.
  • Writing daily stories, including guides, reviews, news and longer form features.
  • Attending events, locally and internationally, as a representative of the Condé Nast Traveller brand.
  • Generating video content on the ground.
  • Working with the art director and global picture research team to source imagery that aligns with Condé Nast Traveller’s visual identity.


ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 4-5 years of relevant professional experience, with digital focused travel or lifestyle brands or media publishers.
  • Impeccable editorial judgement, writing, and ability to capture Traveller’s voice to reach new and established audiences.
  • Expertise with social platforms and SEO.
  • Well organized, strong attention to detail and solutions oriented.
  • Strong time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage multiple deliverables.
  • Ability to perform independently and proactively while working in a team environment.
