POSITION SUMMARY:
Electrical Engineering interns will have the opportunity to learn and work within Andersen Corporation’s various Engineering functions.

POSITION PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide quotes and estimates for control system installations.
  • Design electrical control panels and industrial automation equipment wiring including PLC-, HMI-, VFD, and servo systems.
  • Support preventative and predictive maintenance programs including vibration monitoring systems.
  • Work with vendors to assure specifications and code requirements are followed.
  • Support the maintenance and operations team with troubleshooting.
  • Travel requirements: Less than 10% for training, project support, and vendor visits.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
  • Strong aptitude in problem solving, data collection, statistical analysis, and making process improvements through sound, data-driven decisions.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Proficient in the use of common electrical testing tools.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and on a team.

POSITION PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY:
  • Must be able to stand for 8 hours
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.

COMPENSATION:
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process.
Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $68,000 - $102,000 annually.
