We are looking for an Associate Mechanical Engineer to support assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical components and systems. The role involves working with drawings, BOMs, and work instructions to assemble sub-assemblies and complete machines, while assisting engineers in machine testing and validation. The ideal candidate should have foundational mechanical skills, familiarity with CAD tools, and a willingness to learn in a hands-on engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and assemble mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and complete machines according to drawings, BOMs, and work instructions.
- Read and interpret technical drawings; assist in basic drawing generation.
- Perform fitting, drilling, tapping, fastening, and alignment of mechanical parts.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments (vernier caliper, micrometer, gauges, etc.).
- Assist in machine testing, debugging, and trial runs.
- Identify and report assembly issues, missing parts, or deviations to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety at the workstation.
- Support team lead and engineers during assembly, troubleshooting, and prototyping activities.
- Utilize software tools such as SolidWorks (Basic CAD), AutoCAD, 3D printing software, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word for documentation and basic design tasks.
Preferred Skills & Technical Competencies:
- Basic knowledge of mechanical assembly and fitting techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and BOMs.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
- Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and 3D printing processes.
- Basic documentation and reporting skills using Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and willingness to learn in a collaborative environment.
This role is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of experience who want to gain practical experience in mechanical assembly and prototyping in an engineering environment.

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per month
