Job Purpose
This role is responsible for assisting in developing maintenance schedules, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Key Functional Responsibilities

Assist in creating and executing maintenance plans, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities

Evaluate maintenance needs based on equipment performance, usage data, and production schedules

Assist in creating and coordinating the maintenance calendar to minimize production interruptions to ensure timely maintenance completion

Coordinate with production management to align maintenance schedules with operational requirements

Support in managing the lifecycle of work orders from creation to closure, ensuring that all necessary information is captured and tracked

Prioritize work orders based on urgency, impact on production, and resource availability

Assess the need for external resources or contractors for specialized maintenance work

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment performance metrics

Analyze data to identify trends, areas for efficiency improvement, and ways to reduce costs

Prepare and present maintenance performance reports to management, highlighting key metrics, achievements, and areas for improvement

Communicate with engineering, production, and other relevant departments to ensure alignment on maintenance activities

Coordinate with maintenance engineers and technicians to support their activities and enhance teamwork within the maintenance department

Participate in cross-functional teams to implement initiatives that improve maintenance processes and overall plant performance

Ensure that all maintenance activities adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements

Promote a culture of safety by actively participating in safety audits and training sessions
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
Experience
0 - 3 years in a relevant field
