Associate Experience Supervisor

The Associate Relations Supervisor is responsible for leading a team that manages day-to-day associate relations processes, with a focus on corrective actions, performance improvement plans, termination requests, and severance and retention bonus processing. This role is primarily tasked with ensuring timely, consistent, and compliant execution of associate relations activities.

As a hands-on leader, this role takes a player-coach approach - driving individual and team results while actively mentoring and developing the Associate Relations Specialists. The Supervisor partners closely with HR leadership and stakeholders across the organization to provide consultation, ensure consistent application of policies, and support initiatives that strengthen the associate experience.

  • Lead, manage and develop the overall Associate Experience advisors
  • Serves as a player coach; jumping in to coach the team on best practices for case management resolution.
  • Stays abreast of federal, state and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, ensuring adherence to requirements and advising internal teams and management on needed action.
  • Partners with internal stakeholders to foster a collaborative environment ensuring full support of Acosta Groups enterprise-wide objectives
  • Analyzes the data from the case management system to inform areas of focus for improvement for the broader team
  • Develop reports to track progress in the case management tool and provides insight into associate trends
  • Actively participate in cross functional projects that help drive delivery on company goals
  • Maintain confidentiality of department and associate information according to established practices
  • Mentor junior level staff with the focus on development for the overall betterment of the team and department
  • Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.
  • Associates degree in Human Resources, Business or related field or equivalent education and experience

    • Minimum 5 years’ related experience in Human Resources
    • Minimum 2 years’ of related experience in an HR Lead capacity
  • Minimum Qualifications-Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated ability to effectively with peers, management, teammate and vendors
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Excellent attention to details
    • Ability to manage expectations, process and multiple projects simultaneously
    • A roll up your sleeves and dive in approach with willingness to assist other functions as needed to achieve or exceed department and company business objectives
    • Ability to work with little supervision and deliver results
    • Willingness to take accountability and ownership for both success and areas of opportunities
    • Ability to effectively motivate and engage the associate experience teams
    • Strong data driven mindset to help inform decisions

    The work environment characteristics described are representative of those an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job. Job may require moderate physical effort including lifting materials and equipment weighing less than 50 pounds. This position involves viewing a computer monitor for more than 30% of the time.
