Associate Financial Consultant

Role Purpose:

As an Associate Financial Consultant, the candidate shall possess comprehensive knowledge of accounting standards, especially of IAS-19 and IFRS for SMEs, and shall have excellent analytical and communication skills to provide liaison between the firm, its clients, and the actuary.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES:

· Compile and organize employee and financial data received from clients to support actuarial valuations in accordance with applicable standards.

· Perform detailed data checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness prior to initiating the valuation process.

· Identify data anomalies or discrepancies and coordinate with client representatives to ensure timely resolution.

· Maintain effective communication with the appointed actuary to share relevant information and confirm the status of valuation deliverables.

· Address and resolve technical queries raised by clients and external auditors in line with IAS 19, IFRS for SMEs, and IPSAS 39.

· Share draft and final actuarial valuation reports with clients within agreed timelines and manage ongoing correspondence related to the engagement.

· Assist in preparing tailored proposals for prospective clients, outlining scope, methodology, timelines, and associated fees.

· Maintain an updated status tracker for all assigned client engagements and provide timely progress reports to the Manager.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Knowledge / Skills:

· Have good knowledge of accounting standards, especially IAS-19, IFRS for SMEs, etc.

· Have good analytical and statistical skills.

· Possess excellent communication skills for client correspondence.

· Know the Saudi Labor Law and stay updated with any developments in this regard.

· MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.

Education / Certifications:

Graduated in Accounting & Finance.

Experience:

2-3 Years in accounting related field.
