Job Summary:

We are looking for a technical- IT support Consultant with good knowledge of SAP technical concepts (preferably experienced in any SAP Batch Job Scheduling tool).

This role is part of a critical 24x7 production support team, requiring flexibility to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts, weekends, holidays, and during unplanned critical activities or incidents. The position demands a proactive approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining operational stability in a high-availability environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 24/7 production support, including job monitoring, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.
• Support activities that schedule during holidays, monthly maintenance windows, DST (Daylight Saving Time) changes, and Disaster Recovery (DR) activities.
• Generate CA reports, logs, dashboards, and ensure job visibility and audit compliance.
• Define and manage job dependencies, calendars, events and scheduling triggers.
• Actively participate in knowledge sharing, documentation updates, and weekly meetings.
• Willingly extend support beyond shift hours in case of unplanned/unpredicted critical activities or P1 incidents.
• Collaborate with various IT teams (SAP Basis, Infra, App Support) and with client to ensure seamless operations.
Adhere to SLAs and internal compliance standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must be from a technical IT background.
• Education: Bachelor's degree (B.Tech, B.E., B.Sc. IT, MCA, or equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of IT experience, with at least 2+ years in SAP technical modules
• Experience in SAP Batch Job scheduling and workload management tools.
• Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux, basic shell scripting, and SQL is advantageous but not mandatory
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills, especially in high-pressure production environments.
• Flexibility to work in 24x7 rotational shifts, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
Familiarity with batch scheduling tools such as Control-M or Redwood is advantageous but not required.
