Associate General Dentist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The Dentist will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting assessments, and performing various dental procedures while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining accurate medical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Perform a variety of dental procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics
• Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures
• Maintain thorough medical records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide optimal patient care
• Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe environment
• Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques

Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution
• Valid state dental license to practice dentistry
• Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, but Dentrix is preferred
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology
• Ability to perform various procedures including endodontics, oral surgery, and dental fabrication
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and comfort
• Prior experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable
