Associate General Dentist

**Job Title: Dentist** **Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to Fill in for our Associate dentist October 9 thru October 20 while he enjoys vacation. The Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients' dental issues, promoting oral health, and providing patient education. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various dental procedures and a commitment to delivering high-quality care. **Responsibilities:** - Perform dental examinations to assess patients' oral health - Diagnose and treat various dental conditions such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay - Administer anesthetics for pain management during procedures - Conduct routine cleanings and preventive treatments - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices - Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure efficient patient care - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation - Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and best practices **Qualifications:** - Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school - Active state dental license in good standing - Proficiency in endodontics, pediatric dentistry, and medical terminology - Strong knowledge of dental office procedures and infection control protocols - Ability to perform patient assessments and develop treatment plans - Familiarity with aseptic techniques and anatomy - Excellent communication skills and bedside manner **Nice-to-Have Skills:** - Experience with medical coding - Specialization in pediatric dentistry Join our team of dedicated professionals committed to providing exceptional dental care.
