Associate General Dentist

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional patient care, utilizing advanced dental technologies, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for patients. The Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental issues, educating patients about oral health, and collaborating with a dedicated team of dental professionals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine dental needs
• Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery
• Execute dental extractions and root canal therapy with precision
• Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
• Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure high-quality patient care
• Adhere to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment
• Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and treatment methods

Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution
• Valid state dental license to practice dentistry
• Proficiency in dental software such as Dentrix is preferred
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical imaging techniques
• Familiarity with infection control standards and aseptic techniques
• Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess individual patient needs effectively
• Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is advantageous
