Associate General Dentist

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care, focusing on patient comfort and satisfaction. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various dental conditions, performing procedures, and educating patients on oral health. Duties

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine dental health status.
• Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
• Utilize advanced techniques in four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency during procedures.
• Execute dental extractions and root canal therapy with precision and care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide optimal patient care.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
• Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques in the clinical environment.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental technology and practices.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
• Proficiency in using dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
• Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus; familiarity with child-friendly practices is essential.
• Ability to perform medical imaging as required for patient assessments.
• Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
