Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate General Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of general dentistry procedures, patient care, and dental technology. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning for patients across all age groups, including pediatric dentistry.
- Conduct various dental procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery.
- Utilize dental imaging and medical imaging tools to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment.
- Apply aseptic techniques and infection control measures to ensure patient safety and prevent cross-contamination.
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation using dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
- Educate patients on oral health care, treatment options, and preventive measures to promote overall well-being.
- Collaborate with team members on patient assessment and treatment execution using current dental terminology and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and medical records management.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with advancements in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other specialties.
Requirements
- Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice as an Associate General Dentist.
- Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment; familiarity with dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, infection control protocols, and medical documentation standards.
- Proficiency in performing various dental procedures including extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery.
- Experience with pediatric dentistry is a plus; ability to work effectively with pediatric patients preferred.
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to treatment planning and education.
- Ability to adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control practices essential for safe practice standards.

Pay: $70,666.13 - $85,103.29 per year
