Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our team. As a Dentist, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages. Your primary responsibility will be to diagnose and treat various dental conditions, ensuring the overall oral health of our patients. This is a full-time position located at our dental office in . Responsibilities: - Perform routine dental examinations, including oral cancer screenings - Diagnose and treat dental conditions such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay - Administer anesthetics to patients to minimize pain during procedures - Create treatment plans and discuss them with patients, including options for restorative and cosmetic procedures - Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crown placements - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide preventive care instructions - Collaborate with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other staff members to ensure efficient patient care - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Dentrix or Epic electronic medical documentation systems - Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment Experience: - Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school - Valid state dental license in good standing - Proven experience working in a dental office or clinic setting - Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft for managing patient records and treatment plans - Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, oral health conditions, and treatment options - Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures to patients in a clear and understandable manner - Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred but not required We offer competitive compensation based on experience and skills.
