We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including general dentistry, dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery with precision and care
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and oral examinations, utilizing dental terminology accurately
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences while explaining procedures clearly and effectively
- Utilize dental imaging tools and maintain up-to-date medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols diligently to ensure patient safety and prevent cross-contamination
- Collaborate with dental assistants during four-handed dentistry to optimize efficiency and patient comfort
- Manage medical documentation meticulously, including dental fabrication records, endodontic files, and other clinical notes
- Stay current with advancements in general dentistry practices and maintain proficiency with practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar systems
- Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term wellness
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations related to medical records, HIPAA privacy standards, and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid state license to practice dentistry with current credentials in good standing
- Proven experience in general dentistry; experience in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, or prosthodontics is highly desirable
- Proficiency with dental software platforms such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or equivalent electronic health record systems
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control procedures
- Ability to perform complex procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other restorative treatments
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs compassionately and communicate treatment options effectively
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations regarding medical documentation and patient privacy standards
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry and the use of dental fabrication tools
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and high-quality standards
