Associate General Dentist

What you’ll do

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews and dental examinations.
• Perform a variety of dental procedures, including dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics.
• Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure optimal patient care and infection control.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
• Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques, including medical imaging and aseptic technique.
• Foster a positive experience for pediatric patients through compassionate communication and tailored treatment approaches.

Basic qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Proficiency in dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in pediatric dentistry and familiarity with child-friendly treatment methods.
• Background in endodontics and oral surgery procedures.
• Previous experience working in a dental clinic or office setting.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $750.00 - $1,500.00 per day

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
