Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional patient care, utilizing advanced dental techniques, and maintaining the highest standards of infection control and patient safety. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with a focus on comprehensive dental health services with full clinical autonomy.
You will be provided with support from highly dentists and specialists as well as an operations team that is well versed in all aspects of the dental practice. Your team of dental assistants and front desk staff, will provide you with everything you need to be a productive dentist.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments using advanced diagnostic tools and medical imaging.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
- Conduct various procedures such as dental cleanings, restorations, root canal therapy, dental extractions, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during all procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and legal standards.
- Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
- Collaborate with dental assistants and staff to ensure smooth clinic operations and optimal patient outcomes.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry by participating in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license; additional certifications in pediatric dentistry or oral surgery are a plus.
- Passionate about providing care to all demographics of patients.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and medical imaging techniques.
- Experience in general dentistry with additional expertise in endodontics, prosthodontics, or oral surgery preferred.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate treatment plans clearly.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and experience maintaining confidential medical records.
- Ability to work efficiently within a team environment while demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail.
