Associate General Dentist

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Associate General Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. Duties

• Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and other restorative treatments.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments by reviewing medical and dental histories, performing clinical examinations, and utilizing medical imaging techniques.
• Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate diagnoses and treatment plans clearly to patients and team members.
• Implement infection control protocols adhering to HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and maintain a sterile environment.
• Manage dental fabrication processes such as crowns, bridges, and dentures with precision and attention to detail.
• Document all procedures accurately in medical records using software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix while ensuring compliance with medical documentation standards.
• Collaborate with the dental team using four-handed dentistry techniques for efficient patient care delivery.
• Stay current with advances in general dentistry, endodontics, pediatric dentistry, and oral surgery to provide innovative treatment options.
• Educate patients on oral health practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term wellness.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace following infection control guidelines and OSHA standards.

Experience

• Proven experience working in a busy dental clinic or dental office environment with a strong foundation in general dentistry procedures.
• Demonstrated proficiency with dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
• Hands-on experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry procedures.
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry and oral health conditions.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations concerning patient privacy and medical records management.
• Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge relevant to oral structures and medical imaging interpretation.
• Ability to perform comprehensive patient care including patient assessment and treatment planning for diverse cases including pediatrics.
• Commitment to infection control practices and aseptic technique essential for safe practice delivery. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $750.00 - $2,000.00 per day

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
