Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate General Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient education, while ensuring the highest standards of patient comfort and safety. Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures including examinations, restorations, extractions, endodontic treatments such as root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery as needed basis.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and communicate effectively with patients regarding their oral health needs.
  • Utilize dental imaging techniques and maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety and prevent cross-contamination.
  • Operate dental equipment efficiently, including digital radiography systems like Dentrix software for record keeping and treatment documentation.
  • Collaborate with dental team members to deliver four-handed dentistry for improved efficiency and patient comfort.
  • Stay current with advancements in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other specialties relevant to general practice.
  • Maintain detailed medical records and ensure all documentation adheres to legal and ethical standards.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies to promote long-term oral health.

Qualifications

  • DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution; valid state dental license required.
  • Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental terminology and medical terminology.
  • Familiarity with dental office management software Dentrix is preferred.
  • Experience in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, or related specialties is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of infection control procedures and aseptic techniques.
  • Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures confidently and on as needed./comfort basis
  • Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs compassionately and effectively.
  • Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental procedures and medical imaging techniques.
  • Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and safeguarding patient confidentiality.
  • Prior experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment is highly desirable. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $650.00 - $750.00 per day

Expected hours: 25 – 37 per week
