Under the general direction of the Staff Loan Officer (Supervisor), the Analyst is responsible for performing a wide range of loan servicing functions. These include analyzing and processing loan payments, preparing and executing loan documents, and ensuring ongoing program compliance by maintaining key loan records and tickler systems (e.g., insurance, property taxes, UCC filings). The incumbent also supports administrative reporting and maintains accurate and accessible data and documentation in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
This position may be eligible for hybrid telework under Government Code 14200 for eligible applicants residing in California, subject to the candidate meeting telework eligibility criteria set forth in the CalEPA telework policy and/or future program need. Employees not residing in California are not eligible for telework. Regardless of telework eligibility, all employees may be required to report to the position’s designated headquarters location, as indicated on their duty statement, at their own expense. Beginning July 1, 2026, it is anticipated the position will be office-centered and employees will be expected to report to the office at least four days per week.

Working Conditions
The incumbent works on the 9th floor of a high-rise office building in downtown Sacramento, in an enclosed, non-windowed office cubicle in a smoke-free environment. The work schedule is Monday through Friday. Overtime, including evening and weekend work, is not allowed, unless in extenuating circumstances occur, shall be pre-approved in advance, when the department is mission tasked. Travel may be required locally and within the state.
