Associate IT Infrastructure Engineer

As an Associate Infrastructure Engineer at Sumerge, you will play a crucial role in supporting our infrastructure team in building, maintaining, and optimizing our IT infrastructure for various projects and internal operations. You'll be exposed to a wide array of technologies and platforms, allowing you to develop your skills in system administration, cloud services, and network management.

Your responsibilities will include assisting in the deployment and configuration of servers and applications, ensuring security best practices are followed, and troubleshooting any infrastructure-related issues. You'll work closely with senior infrastructure engineers to learn industry standards and implement solutions that enhance performance and reliability across the board.

Responsibilities

• Deliver first-level IT support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users.
• Assist in day-to-day operations of IT infrastructure.
• Assist in the installation, and maintenance of hardware and software components for end-users.
• Deploy the approved updates/patches for Desktops / Laptops to meet changes in information technology.
• Monitor the behavior of the End-Users Devices for vulnerability prevention.
• Updates accurate IT documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets and their lifecycle.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of relevant experience.

• B.S. or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
• Good experience with Operating Systems Environment (Windows and Linux)
• Good experience with LAN and WAN Networks Technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP,,…).
• Good knowledge with Microsoft 365 Applications.
• Good knowledge with cloud computing systems (Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS)).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn from feedback.
